All lamps and luminaires use LED technology and nearly all offer a choice of 4 or more color variations.
Color variations are measured using the common commercially understood spectral measurement (Kelvins) from blue/white (6000 Kelvins) to orange/red (2500 Kelvins). This is often designated as the “color temperature” of the light. For all practical purposes this means color only – the term “temperature” is there to satisfy the physics wavelength definition – not temperature (hot-cold) as we usually understand it.
The term CRI=Color Rendering Index. This is how close a given light comes to matching that given by the sun which =100. Colors closer to a CRI of 100 are more vibrant and true to nature.
Dimming capabilities offer either a series of single brightness levels or stepless dimming imitating a rheostat by a gliding touch control.
