What do I want in Healthy Lighting?

Choice of Spectrum=Light that wakes me up in the morning and allow me to work or perform my work effectively. Lighting that mimics daylight as I move through the day-keeps me awake, but does not drain my energy as it matches the changes that take place in outside daylight. Light that allows Melatonin production towards the end of the day by its move into the Yellow/Orange/Red Spectrum of evening light (sunset).

Choice of brightness without glare=light bright enough to allow me to perform necessary tasks regardless of Spectral considerations (Kelvin).

Light that renders the same color as sunlight (CRI 90+).

Inexpensive commercially available Luminaires (Lamps, bulbs, fixtures and flashlights).

Lighting that utilizes LED technology to save energy and replacement costs.
