LEDs Daylight, Nightlight and CRI

Bathroom lighting presents a unique problemBathroom Lighting Issues. In the morning, light that wakes and energizes us for the day is what we want. This means that the blue/white spectrum in the 4000 to 6000 K is necessary. At the end of the day, we need the spectrum lower – 3000 to 2300 K to relax us and stimulate Melatonin production for a good night’s sleep. It is this evening lighting need that is most often missed as we use the bathroom before going to bed.

At present, we have no single off the shelf lighting system that can meet these conflicting needs.
